Ricky is a brilliant dancer, but he was already an accomplished dancer before he started on the series, as was Ali. Very entertaining show. alih Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 I loved every minute of it too but felt there should have been 2 winners - I was rooting for the lovely Ricky who was by far the better dancer, but didn't mind too much that Chris won as he seemed very modest and cheery and had improved wonderfully. I thought the spirit of the programme was fantastic too and the lindy hop was amazing!! Chickendoodle Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 I thought it was a brilliantly entertaining show and I am really pleased that Chris and Ola won. chris stands for what Strictly is all about as far as I am concerned - not necessarily the best dancer but the best all round entertainer//improver and good egg! Nothing against Ricky as he danced excellently but he just didn't have the wow factor for me - I found him a bit bland - someone I found it hard to form an opinion of. Even though some of his dances over the series have been scored well by the judges I could happily have gone out to make a cuppa while they were on whereas Chris held my attention. We were out Saturday night but I made sure my daughter sent me a text when it was time to vote!!! Watched the show Sunday morning before watching any news or looking at the paper.
