Scooby2
I have four chicks all of different breeds. One light sussex, one leg horn and two other pure breeds which I'm not sure of breed (can anyone tell me what they are?). They are all 5 weeks old and I wondered if anybody can help sex them or is it too early? Scooby2
Thanks everyone for your help. I am gutted about the light sussex I so wanted it to be a girl. He is the loveliest chick of them all as he lets you pick him up and give him a cuddle

He is the loveliest chick of them all as he lets you pick him up and give him a cuddle The black markings on his wing tips are a give away, certainly a boy. The Light Sussex breed make excellent table birds, so if you can bring yourself to 'do the deed', being a boy is not so much of a problem.
