Just in time OH completed my fantastic (well, me & the girls think so) walk-in run Matilda was not best impressed at the time (OH thinks she doesn't like the colour ), but she's now got the hang of going upstairs to bed etc. And, and, I got my bootiful new girls yesterday - so pretty . I would like to introduce Darcey and Gloria . So far introductions between the girls are.... interesting Once I find out how (blonde moment - have to ask OH), I will post some pics.

Wow, they're gorgeous . Forgive my ignorance, but what kind are they? (Not that I'm planning new girls or anything .)

The WIR is now there. D & G went up first as 'test-pilots'.

Darcy & Gloria are Black Rhodes - Rhode Island Red x Plymouth Barred Rock. But I wonder that they are also called Black Rocks? Correct me someone please if I'm wrong. Darcy is - apparently - what is known as a 'Magpie' due to her unusual colouring.

Survived bedtime in the chook-house. Matilda got all covered in confusion again about where to go but the new girls raced in and got their places to which 'Tilda took a rather dim view I'm sure things will settle down
