Valkyrie
Hewoooo Laura is going cross-eyed trying to read the itty bitty writing without clicking the quote button. Hah so there! Apparently the crabapple man is sick to death of crabapples and would be happy never to see another one ever. Remind you of anyone? I gather he doesn't want a little pressie of the jam then. He told OH that he and his wife made so much stuff with crab apples they both agreed never to do it again, so he is well happy with OH. I love plum jam - we did that a few years ago with OH's cousin's plum tree. Again it was that odd year that produced so much - and she wasn't doing anything with them either, so we went and bought some sugar and made jam in her kitchen - she was delighted. Since then she still hasn't made any jam. What a waste. And mumsie is still here . . . The youngest daughter next door has been spying on us from her bedroom window when we put the chickens to bed. Not obvious at all - the fact she is standing there with the light on we can see perfectly well. Gosh we must be soooo interesting. Is she a little girl? No she is 20 and has a horse somewhere - dressage, very poash. I guess she won't be living in Pontypridd then.

Plum
Lovely cat I was very naughty and tossed 4 slugs over the fence tonight Wife swap on now. Both families have chickens
Space Chick
Thats what OH said, that he'd brought us a present. Well I'm sorry but a good present to me is a box of chocolates or some Molton Brown foam bath. Not, and I repeat, not a slug, mouse, live mole (one particularly memorable present) or dead squirrel (another memorable present). If he wants to gift slugs, then I know of 10 lovely ladies that would find that a delightful gift, sadly I am not one of them as I don't have feathers Thanks Plum, just put Wife Swap on to tape on plus one

Valkyrie
Ewwwww disgusting. Our old cat used to bring in elephant hawk moth caterpillars. The first time she dropped it in the middle of the lounge floor - it looked like poo until you could see the pretend eye spots on it. Well you have to look when you clean it up don't you. In this case it was Muuuuum Paddy's done something on the carpet - and then my brother and I ran off. Then Paddy brought in another and another. They grow into gorgeous moths - and like the chickens, also eat my ruddy fuschias - we had one a couple of years ago, it pupated and sadly DD was away when it emerged and I released it into the wild. Ahhhhh, always an emotional time when you release a wild thang. Ooh Scramble I see some bubbles you missed there! Popopopopop! Then you can twist it and it sounds like a machine gun - well, sort of with a bit of imagination. Oooh, Debs - sounds too good to miss - would you like to do a swap with some crab apple jelly? Dunno about wife swap - we could jam swap.!

Valkyrie
Debs is making up for lost time while she wasn't well! Gosh is that the time! I thought it was 8.30! I have just been beaten up with my hair - well it was DD grabbing it and whipping me in the face with the tatty ends and making neighing noises at the same time. Normal children just kiss their mums goodnight! Now mumsie is on her own, so I must go and chat before turning in for the night, so I will race Debs to bed tonight. Tatty bye peepsies.
