4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I have a US/Australian book with a lovely blanket pattern in Rowan Wool Cotton. All the names of the colours are different here in the UK. Not eveywhere stocks it so i would need to purchase different colours from different shops. Should I do this or is there an alternative more popular Rowan Yarn I could use instead?

I had the same thing with some Paton's patterns I bought in Australia. But my woolshop knew the equivalent yarn in England - and showed me the same pattern book I bought in Australia, but with the English wool name. Same wool, different name.

 

So I think it's fairly common.

Just as long as the yarn will knit to the same tension-you should be able to find out the tension if you look on the American rowan site-then you should be ok.

Well I took the book into John Lewis today and they stock the wool so iwas able to match the colours very well. I'm going to knit the first square tonight!!!
