Not sure how many cricket fans are on here but just wanted to say how fantastic that England have won back the Ashes.

 

OH, DD and DS went along on Friday and had a brilliant day. It has been a bit tense in our house today but the champagne is on ice and chilling nicely!

I do not follow it but it made me laugh when Ross Brawn checked his phone after the F1 race to check the cricket score

I always get a tear in my eye when England do well at any sport (yes I know my location is Scotland but I'm English!)

 

DH on the other hand doesn't follow any sport except F1. I told him we'd won the Ashes and he asked how many goals we'd scored . I think he said that on purpose but can't be entirely sure ...

We had step-daughter, step-SiL & Quin (gorgeous little step grandson!) round for lunch yesterday & DsSIL checked his iphone for the scores.....could have been slightly awkward as he's an Aussie and we are all Poms

 

Well done boys, lets see if our other national sport is played as well this season....not that I follow sport anyway ...invariably I catch on when somebody posts on here
