The Dogmother
Me too Olly I find that (as has been said) it's often best to get the better quality meat or fish and then eke it out with other ingredients - vegetables and beans in casseroles, things like that. I love my slow cooker to bits, especially in the winetr for stews, soup and stock.
henny penny
Hi Ive just got my slow cooker out again and ordered two new slowcook books online- Iseem to spend all my time preparing food in the evening- eating then clearing up. Also with childrens activities in the evening, I seemed to be cooking two or three times a night. So to be economical with time and money - thought I would batch cook in the slow cooker- then I can feed everyone the same meal even if its at different times! well thats the theory!!
