Ygerna
I popped into John Lewis today, supposedly to have a quick browse of the sewing machines. I came away with a bag FULL of bits for crafting and my purse was £80 lighter I bought lots of things I've wanted for a while and as I had some of my Birthday money I thought I'd have little splurge. I've bought a whole lot of beads, wires, crimps and tools to have a go at making some earings and necklaces (wearing the first pair I made this afternoon right now ). lots of threads and some crochet hooks. Then this afternoon I popped into a charity shop to have a look for something to alter to make DD a national costume for a school project, didnt find anything but came away with 10 balls of wool for £3.00, all new and still in the original plastic. Woohoo. I feel all crafted up

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Tulip you're down the road. A John Lewis in Chatham, Tulip. Can you imagine it? What a day of glory that would be!
Tulip
OMG nooooooo that would be so dangerous!!! I've just done two hundred and forty five quid in the Bluewater one! Although, I'd happily be the Rowan rep and spend every day re-ordering the yarns into a perfect colour rainbow....

Tulip
LOL it's not as bad as it sounds. 199 quid of that was on My First Sewing Machine. and 30 on some kitchen scales. Just been to Pikea and bought bookcase/desk that attaches to it/swivelly chair, so I now have my own office/craft room in the spare bedroom. It's just occured to me that if there's one way of ensuring I fall pregnant soon, it's making the spare room unavailable I just hope it works!
