haseldine Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 hi,i have 4 bantams 2 light sussex at 16 weeks and 2 black gold pekins at 13 weeks,i am a bit worried that one of the pekins is a rooster,they look about the same one is slightly smaller than the other its this small one thats a bit strange, its very vocal almost crowing but not quite,but when i pick it up it crouches as if it was a hen.at this age would it be obvious if it was a cockeral?can anyone help. As you can see, very obvious which is which. In fact, we knew for sure from around 8 weeks what each of them was. They boys had combs and wattles developing and going pink from 4 weeks.
