I got up at 2.30am a few weeks ago - I'd powdered the house with red mite powder earlier in the day then panicked in case it was too much and I poisoned the girls . I scooped out the stuff on their bedding while they coo-ed at me as if I was mad. I checked with the experts on this forum the following day and realised my night-time wanderings had been for nothing. I too have had dreams that people/things were after my chickens (not Kevin Webster though) and also had a dream that I went down one morning and found that I'd about three times as many chickens as I have now (I've got three brown ones), because they had sneaked in through the nesting box overnight! I think thats where the problem is.. :lol: and yes this is 6.30am and yes I have been up since 6.00am with coffee in hand checking my orpies wake up ok with the bigguns today... they are currently peering out the cube door saying .. cluckingmad Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Thank gawd I'm not the only one!!! everytime the girls bok we BOTH hurtle out to see whats happening And yes, I too have dreams involving the girls... but not as bad as our neighbour who loves the girls soo much if I come home from work early he's leaning over the fence chatting with them (they talk back, obviously) Think I'm very lucky to live next door to such lovely folk!
