chooklady
I have had a very strange night, I went to bed really early, before 10 and then I was awake at 2 and I haven't been to sleep since. Decided to come down stairs at 4.30 as I was disturbing OH. It is my daugther's 13th birthday today (20th) so this time 13 years ago I was in labour as she arrived at 10.43 in the morning, and I had been awake from the early hours. Very strange, glad I haven't got the labour pains to go with it!!!!!
Seagazer
I've had a similar sort of night but I wasn't in labour then or now At least you should sleep better tonight. Happy birthday to your DD. Are you having a party? Perhaps the thought of lots of new teenagers has kept you up.
Alis girls
Oh dear - that sounds familiar. I put it down to my age (47) - my body wants to sleep but the mind wont let me - when i do get off - I cant wake up and dont feel refreshed in the morning. We have a relatively new bed so should be comfy, but back ache and leg pain (I think I have a knee prob) dont help. The recent study about sleeping alone is intersting as when I slept with YS in the spare bed in his room I slept better. I think because OH reads till late that doesnt help. Joys of getting old. Enjoy DD birthday and sleep well tonight.-have a siesta if you get chance. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ This is really annoying as now I don't have to get up early with any of the kids (11, 18, 21) I can't lay in at all. I think during the summer the latest I managed was 7.45. What is going on? You're probably right with the age thing (45). Mum says I was alway an early riser though. I've got a bit on my mind at the moment so I know thats hampering my sleeping. Griffin
Happy Birthday to your daughter Daughter number 3 Emily is 8 years old today. I wasn't in labour exactly 8 years ago though, she was born at 4.48am A very silly time, having kept me up all night. At around 10.30pm Mr Griffin had complained that he was bored I wasn't exactly having the time of my life either but I'd thought she'd be here by midnight. When almost five hours later Emily appeared, he said I'd taken my time So at this time 8 years ago I was sat on my sofa alone with Emily as his lordship was tired and had gone to bed to catch up on the sleep I'd deprived him off Happy days! After his performance that night it's a miracle we went on to have another baby four years later
Patricia W
They have no stamina. I had my youngest (0 this year!) at home. She was born about 1am. His lordship was so worn out by the trauma, he had to go to bed. So I left him in bed with DD and got up to see to the youngest 3 aged 2,4,and 6!! I do hope you sleep tonight.
