I have an RCOM Pro 20 and it is fantastic. I got my first hatch out recently and the whole thing went incredibly smoothly. It can hatch all manner of eggs from quail to chickens to pheasants and peacocks and will also cater for larger eggs with some DIY (I'm sure you can cook an ostrich in there!).

It also auto-turns which is nice and the most interesting feature is the auto-function. Put chicken eggs in, select chicken, hit go. 21 days later you have baby chickens :D Unhappy with the auto settings? Tweak them and let it do it's own thing anyway!

Absolutely brilliant, cannot talk more highly enough about it. I think I am right in saying the King SURO you are talking about is alarmingly similar to this.

Thumbs up!

Because registration is a manual exercise on the practical poultry forum, it can take a few days for them to set up your ID. In my case I had to prompt them after five days because I'd heard nothing. However, to their credit, they were then very quick at e-mailing my login details to me. It's all been fine since.

I got a R-COM pro 20, I did look at the others - the suro is a cradle turner i.e. angles the eggs, where as the pro 20 rolls the eggs sidways for turning. In the end I went for the pro20 as it really is completely automatic - you just top up the water for humidity, no sponges anymore and it even beeps at you to warn if you forget to top up the water container - the suro from my reading you need to attach your own pot of water to a tube on the machine for humidity, it is onboard with the pro20.

My 1st hatch is due out next week so I will let you know, but it is certainly easy to use and has set programmes for many different birds, plus you can manually adjust if you wish.
