cluckingmad
oooh Dippy Bird, you're not terribly far from me How on earth did you manage to persuade your OH to get two coups in such a short time?! Am already working on mine to let me get another eglu, will take me about 12 months to save up for one (and about the same amount of time topersuade him its a good idea!!) dippy bird
My OH is a bit of a pushover really, but I think I have pushed him far enough! Maybe I can get him to treat me to another coop for my birthday , OMG, yep, thats it!! Hurrah! My bday is in a few weeks and he never knows what to buy me!! Ooohhh I'mmmm goooooddd!! Now I just need to plant the seed.....
cluckingmad
Trick is to make them think that is weas THEIR idea in the first place Am sneakioly in discussions to get another eglu so I can, ahem, hatch some eggs out under a broody... OH really isn't keen as he says raising birds with the possibility of having to eat the cockerals moves us into farm territory... keep gently reminding him when we says this that I WANTED a farm, however because he can't drive we had to move closer to the city than I would have liked
dippy bird
I have mentioned it today, not impressed .But as I am the one who looks after the girls - I do ALL of the cleaning and feeding etc, then it would make no difference to anyone else. Also mentioned about different coloured eggs,at which point my SS jmped in and said how cool it would be to have funky eggs.I think you call that Mission Accomplished. So, come November time, I may be looking for some more funky looking little girls....Then I promise I will stop!!
