jellybean29 Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) my maran who is supposedidly about 20/21 weeks this morning made a kind of 'ka kaa' noise and similar noises throught the day, and im starting to worry she may be a he! she doesnt look like a cock (comb ect..) but her tail feathers do stick slightly up. ive already had a similar problem with one of my other chcikens who sadly turned out to be a cock and had to find a new home i would of thought that if she is a cock then she would have started crowing weeks ago???(we have had her about 9 weeks) and she isnt very dominent with our 2 buff orpingtons or displaying any cock behaviour towards them please help!!!!!
