Problem with sliding roof

Recommended Posts

Built the cube yesterday and went to open it to find lhs of the roof had

come off the slider. It was a bit difficult to fit as the 1 of the 2 brackets

seemed a tighter fit than the other.

Ive had the cube for a year, has there been any changes in the last year?

My installer told me to adjust the roof but opening or moving across the little brackets on the roof as others have mentioned. As you 'may' not always have it on the same piece of grouns and depending whether it is level or not will mean adjustment to rectify the eneveness... do I make sense?

Yes I know what you mean...builder adjusted it, and thought it was ok, but not great.

Builder now on holiday.....

So now thinking when he returns to try and adjust it, and tempted to

make some room in front of the cube so I can slide the roof forward.

Without having to move the cube back on the wheels.

I've had new style side panels and a new style back panel this week but kept the original roof.

The new style Back Panel seems to have a higher wall in the top drainage channel (inside).

This means that you now have to slightly lift the roof over the channel wall (Back Panel) before the roof will slide open.

The higher walled Back Panel may stop driving rain getting into the Cube between the Roof and Back Panel
