Just had to let you all know about the fabulous customer service I've just had from Tarpaflex when I ordered another 'glass clear' tarp to cover the second cube run and extension.

It was disappointing to find the size i wanted out of stock, so i shopped around a bit but i couldn't find anyone else doing the size and price that i wanted - and I was so happy with the quality of the first one I bought that I didn't really want to change company. I rang Tarpaflex to find out when the tarp i want would next be in stock. Well, we talked tarps, my previous order and the Omlet forum (they'd noticed a lot of people ordering and mentioning Omlet! :D ). Although they didn't have exactly the size I wanted, as a previous customer (and because of Omlet too, i think! ) I was offered a discount on another size straight away. FAB!

My chooks will get covered up in all this rain - hurrah  !

Tell me about it! Pip, my white mini silkie may be small but she is sure loud when something displeases her! A lot of things displease her, not just the rain  wind, sunshine, other chooks, mash in the grub instead of pellets, pellets in the gravity feeder rather than mash, me in the run, me picking her up, me not picking her up! Contrary little madam!

Off to look at Tarpaflex as me thinks the banties need some side protection!

Great to hear positive vibes laurmurf, Thanks! :D

Em, its the stuff that Phil has made the blinds on my WIR out of :D

You are both right about a wet silkie not being a happy silkie.

Susan the silkie has been part of the family for 4 days now, but boy is she making her presence known

She has being going to the side of the run today, looking at the rain and yelling the garden down

However, she is also displeased at many things, having corn on the cob put in the run, then finishing the corn on the cob, her new sister Nyssa wanting to go to bed. One of the big girls coming up to the intro divide, me picking her up, being allowed access to the full run, not being allowed access to the full run.

I have always wanted a silkie but this little darling is more high maintenance and makes more noise than my other 11 put together

:anxious: oooh Tia are Maria and behaving impeccably....at the moment.

Been and had a look at the website and I don`t know which one to buy :?

I have corrugated plastic sheet on top of the cube run and plan for this to stay but want blinds like yours Debs.....one per every two pieces of run and just down one side as the other is sheltered by the fence.

Ignore the eglu in the middle and imagine a cube run in its place.

Did Phil cut the tarp? If so did he "hem" the cut edges and did he have to make eyelets?
