clippesby - anyone know this area?

Recommended Posts

Oooh Clippersby is LOVELY!

As already mentioned walking and sailing, the scenery is lovely!

You are within driving distance of Norwich for shopping (they have a lakeland  ) and Great Yarmouth (my neck of the woods).

Also I LOVE going to

Mum used to take us as kids and she still goes every year with her recpetion class. The animals are lovely and the little shops are great too!

If all else fails if you could knock on my Nan's front door she will feed and water you until you physically can not fit anything else in and she will tell you all about Norfolk history. Although, how long is half-term? She could keep you talking for days!

Rosie used to ask to go to How Hill every time we went to Norfolk.

My folks had a house in Stalham and we were there every school holiday as children, sailing, fishing and walking on the beach :D They are selling the house now - it's a bit of a trek for them and they don't visit much these days. Sad for us as it was great for a free holiday, but we still visit to see friends.

We had our summer holiday on the Norfolk Broads this year on a boat. So beautiful up there and very relaxing (well it was for me as I didn't have to 'drive' the boat). We started in Stalham. Obviously I only know about the little villages that we managed to moor up at and the little pubs/restaurants. :D
