the Swine Flu is closing in! Danny brought a letter home from school saying a pupil has been clinically diagnosed with Swine Flu in the last few days. Several others are displaying symptoms, it says mostly in Year 4 which I think is the Junior department, which is a separate building. So how worried should I be? Do you think my two could have Swine Flu and not just a virus as the doctor said?

Quite possible PurpleTree, although I am pleased to report that after my swine flu and post swine flu outing which commenced on the 3rd August I shall be returning to work tomorrow

 

I am doing tomorrow and Friday this week but shorter days, 3 shorter days next week, 3 full days the week after, 4 full days the week after that and then back full time, but I am sooooo glad that I can finally get back to work

Was wondering when you were going back to work, and if you were going to break yourself in gently.

 

There's seems to be loads of different things at the school at the moment. A few of Dan's friends have had some sort of tummy bug, a few kids have been sent home from school due to being sick. A few others have got what my 2 have - sore throat, lost their voice. How are you meant to tell if it's Swine Flu or something else?

I don't know why that annoys me I should be happy that to my brain I've gained an hour, but I was panicking about not finsihing my english in time and now I've done it and and and aaahhhhhhh
