Janty
I was speaking to Mum-in-law on the phone tonight and she said that she had been on the forum looking at somebody's wedding. She said that the venue looked just like where we got married and how uncanny it was that two places could look so similar. It was your wedding at St. Peters that she had been looking at. That made me smile today. As well as the end of the day school bell ringing at 3.20!
Chicken Licken
Survived another week until the bell went at 3.35! Determined not to check my work email until monday morning (I know there are already some there to deal with!) Looking forward to a quiet week end at home, nice dog walks and crisp autumnal weather (I hope)

Cate in NZ
Well, for a little bit of Friday light-heartedness & a smile or 2 I thought I'd share with you details of my daughters new boyfriend. Although tbh it's not a serious relationship at all, just friends in her book, but seemingly he views her more romantically than she views him, but such is life. She was telling me all about him, his name's Brent (not actually an unusual name in these parts) so I asked her what his surname was as a coleague has a teenaged son called Brent...wondered if it was the same lad No it's not, daughter's friend Brent has the surname Cross She wondered why hubby & I ended up rolling around the floor crying with laughter & threatening to change her name by deed poll to Blue Water Has to be said this lad is a NZer through & through, of partial Maori ancestry & never ever visited any North London shopping centres so it's a completely innocent coincidence, but it gave me a giggle. Poor lad. Apparently now though we're not allowed to meet him 'cos Immy can't trust us to behave Happy wekend everyone, we've got a sunny spring Saturday here, my veggie seeds are planted out & growing. Life's good
