CrazyDaizy
We want to put nut baskets out for the wild birds in our garden, but what if some of the nuts land on the ground and the chooks eat them? Bit concerned about them choking etc? If someone else has already posted about this, please direct me to their thread.
Lewis
Do you mean nuts, or can you just use bird seed? It should be fine and they'll ignore them, but of they do I doubt they'd choke - they're been known to eat frogs and mice, so a nut should be fine! Janty
Mine would eat the wild birds themselves given half a chance. Mine have eaten nuts with no problems.

Olly
I don't think it's a problem. I would position bird-feeders away from the chicken run, because wild birds can spread mites and lice amongst other things, you don't want to encourage them to be near or around the run.
