Any tips on getting best price for Gatwick parking have been looking at the pricing for next August and its already gone up £2 so do I book now or see if they do better deals.

 

 

Am looking at airport parking only?

I always pre book and use APH they are about £7.00 a day.

We use BCP (I think).

Its off site,but the free bus service is really regular.

Its chaeaper the earlier you book too.

Are you very far away? And how long you going for? I'm about 45 minutes away, you could park here and I'll give you a lift - FREE! Genuine offer - those car parks cost a fortune.

Usually the hotel and parking is a really good deal & with the dreadful M25 its peace of mind to be able to stroll across to the terminal without worrying if we will miss the flight but we dont need a hotel this year as our flight is early evening and we get back at midnight!

 

Planning on having a nice meal at the terminal before heading off

 

In theh past have had good room rates on ie sofitel etc incl parking and it works out very well, so will let you know how I get on(its usually cheaper to do it via an agent etc rather than direct).

 

But just parking this year, will shop around

I live 5-10 minute drive from Gatwick and would be very pleased to offer a car parking service if only my road wasn't so full of cars We've even had to turn down family.

 

If anyone is going just for 24-48 hours, I might be able to help though.

You could try the holiday extras website, we've used them a few times and they always seem to have good deals.

I have a little man we have been using for years. He is 4 miles away from Gatwick and has a run down looking nursery (which sells free range eggs!) and when you get out the back there tends to be a fair few nice looking cars. He only takes newish cars as he doesn't want aggro when one won't start and he drives you to the airport and picks you up (if you land before 10pm) on the return. He does specify that you drop off you passengers and luggage first (he has a micra!). We love him and he charges about 20 quid a week. Of course our flight this Xmas was changed to Heathrow - he doesn't do Heathrow
