After weeks of anticipation (waiting for fireworks to be out of the way) our girls have finally arrived, in torrential rain and gale force wind all day long. This hasn't deterred them from exploring their new home, eating, drinking and learning to use the ladder! They even took themselves off to bed at dusk without any prompting, although when they heard me coming they all reappeared (?thinking I had food for them), and I had to hide behind the shed til they went back in again. I'm really hoping the weather will improve tomorrow so I can be outside with them.
