I have started getting catalogues for elasticated waist crimplene trousers through the post. I know I'm in my 40's but perleeeeeease!

 

Yep, when I hit 50 they decided I needed elasticated waist crimplene trousers and orthopaedic shoes. And SAGA holiday brochures. I don't feel quite ready for this yet.

 

However I do have a recurring dream. DH and I are in our bedroom (no it isn't naughty, honestly). His hair is a white combover (he still has lots of hair now) and mine a white bun (it is currently spiky red-brown so this would be a change). He has trousers with paint on them and checked slippers and a baggy old sweater (this is almost what he wears now apart from the slippers!), and I have some of those booty checked slippers, a skirt (haven't worn one in years), rather unflattering baggy fally down beige elastic tights, an ill-fitting cardi and a zimmer frame. We are both very frail but he is looking after me. Maybe this is what is to come

 

For now I'll stick to my jeans!
