Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I've come back from 2 weeks away on business to a house that looks like a bombsite (but the kids and pets are fed and watered, so I am grateful really!).

 

Amongst other things, one of my little darlings has left a tin bucket in the bath and it's gone a little rusty and the rust marks are now all over the enamel bath. I've tried bleaching it but no luck. Has anyone got a handy hint to help get rid of it? Don't fancy forking out for re-enameling it!

Astonish gets rid of most stains.

 

I left a food tin (washed and ready to go in the recycling!) on the side of my sink and it left a rust stain, but Astonish got rid of it. It also removed some nasty marks from the inside of a lovely piece of Spode Corinthian ware I found in a charity shop

I have black rubber marks on my bath and was told to use brasso which worked a treat - it wasn't an enamel bath though.

I'd try bicarb on it or one of the those non abrasive scourers you can use on non stick cookware.

Bicarb works brilliantly. Just make a paste rub it in gently and leave for a while - you might need a couple of goes depending on how much rust has developed.

brasso or any other metal polish. I have some metal polish called Peek Polish and that gets rust spots off my enamel bath no problems.
