chelsea
I've just become a member of my local Mecca Bingo hall!! Does anyone else play? I haven't been to a Bingo hall since I was little - back in the late seventies/early eighties I can remember going every weekend with my nan & grandad, my sister and I used to sit with colouring pens and books whilst my grandparents played. The in-laws want us to go so we have all become members. Can't believe I am in my thirties and been talked into going to the Bingo! Bet I'm not the youngest though Wonder what the halls/clubs are like now?
Guest
Money pits. I stopped going. Table bingo can be £1 a pop, fruit machines take credit cards! My mate has started going and he seems to spend about £50 in a night.
BeckyBoo
I have to say I haven't been since I went with my Nan as a child, but a friend of mine, in her 30's, went a few times last year with a group of girlfriends and had a whale of a time! She said it was brilliant fun. Hope you have a great time, and lots of wins!! BeckyBoo
Egluntyne
Have a good time.....a bit of light hearted fun. My friend was 'dragged' along by her SIL on one occasion...and won £900. She was gobsmacked.
Space Chick
My husband was a bingo caller when he was in college, he still does his "calling voice" for me occasionally

Lewis
My aunt + nan went once a few weeks ago and won a few £100 between them. A friend of theirs went and won £10,000 recently!
chelsea
Have a good time.....a bit of light hearted fun. That is exactly what it will be Not going for big wins, and I probably will be hopeless so it will be a good laugh! The in-laws want to go during the winter nights to stop them falling asleep in front of the fire - so getting them out will be good. I might even suggest a bunch of us girls from work go for a laugh....
BarbaraJ
I went with a friend 6yrs ago or so but stopped as it got way too smokey for me but now its smoke free i joined again.
