Gelbel
I've had a horrible Monday morning - being shouted at by someone for something I have NO control over. So I am not in the best of moods. Not helped by the girls boking for England at 07:00 this morning (something must have spooked them). Anyway - just went out to have a morning tidy of the girls (as it was too dark at 7) and Rita and Joy have had me in hoots of laughter. As we all know, hens will not use the drinking recepticles we lovingly purchase and keep spotlessly clean. So, in this house, we have little flower pots or little buckets that collect rain water scattered about that they will use - once they've drained the puddles. Anyway - Rita and Joy are each sat on a flowerpot. And it looks like they are having a little clean on a bidet. Bit cold.

mostin
Hilarious , I can just picture it. Another Leeds person, hello *waves*. If you want some mad chicken company, keep your eye on the get togethers section at the bottom of the forum, as we northern lot tend to get together quite a bit for chook chat and the mandatory tea and cakes . I'll keep an eye out! Where do you get your supplies from - I find it difficult as I cannot find a one stop shop for feed and bedding and bits and bob and I am loathed to use the internet to be stung by p&p? I am sooooooo lucky. i live 2 minutes away from Peckfield Farmshop on Garforth Cliff, on the A63 out towards Selby. It sells bedding, food, and supplements. I still have to get a few things by post but I manage to get most things from there now .
