Lesley
Happy Birthday - are you still unwrapping it?
Guest
My lovely children got me The Complete Encyclopedia of Chickens, and we have had great fun dreaming of the unusual breeds we want to put in a Pink Eglu if we can persuade Chookiehubbie to get one! Chookiehubbie, sadly, pretended to not hear all the not so subtle hints about another Eglu, but got me a couple of patio apple trees, and a blackberry bush. I had a lovely day - got taken out for lunch AND dinner, and then got very merry on a bottle of Crystal champagne - still feel a bit wobbly from it all! Mrs Frugal
Glad you had a good day, Shona. Excellent book too! My favourite! Talking of exotic breeds, I'm desperate for a Frizzle - shame they're too big for an Eglu though .
Guest
The smelly boys think that the naked necked chickens are the most fantastic things they have ever seen, and are determined that Santa is going to bring a couple with him at Christmas. I, on the other hand, think not!

Cate in NZ
When I went to buy Phil (the eggless diva) the breeders had some beautiful baby frizzles that they were hoping to show; they looked like dishmops on legs and were scampering around like mad things. They were sooo cute . Don't know that I'd actually want one though, imagine keeping all that white flull looking pristine Sorry, bit late here Shona, but Happy Birthday for yesterday
Guest
I just wanted to say 'THANKYOU' to all the people who wished me a happy birthday. What a lovely bunch of people we Eglu owners are! And Kate, frizzles are gorgeous, my powder puff for my talc is looking a bit worse for wear, a frizzle could be just the replacement I'm looking for. motherhen
Frizzles are soooo cute that they could be the 'must have' accessory on the autumn catwalks. I'm sure there are hens with real hen personalities hidden under all that adorable fluff - and they didn't ask to be hatched like that
AnnieP
Frizzles:..... they didn't ask to be hatched like that I know how they feel!!!
