have loads of scuffs on it?

i'm not really bothered. but i was expecting it to be a little more perfect because i did pay a fair few for it!

 

o well! as long as the chooks like it, that's all that counts!!!

 

they also gave me free egg cartons

Yes mine was a bit scuffed, i guess they are hard to keep pristine because they are an odd shape

 

I figured that it would get pretty scratched up quickly anyway

I got a reconditioned eglu and I have to say it was hard to tell it wasn't brand new! It might be worth mentioning to Omlet as presumably it's their couriers who are causing the damage .

i think i might mention it.

but the reason why i didn't think it was the courier was because it was in a huge box and it looked impossible to damage! guess i was wrong!

I wouldn't be happy with any scuffs to be honest, the eglu and cubes cost alot of money!!

I'd take some photos and email them

mine came(not recently) but not in a box and no scuffs

Mine arrived last Thursday and is perfect - no scuffs (just a few manufacturing marks on the inside but nothing that bothers me). I'd be really disappointed too if it was scratched on the outside, it'd ruin it for me. I think Barbara's given great advice - maybe phone them first to let them know what's happened and to watch out for your photos so your email's not left unread in someone's inbox. Good luck.

I agree, we got a recond cube and it looked/looks brand new! I'd be really unhappy if I paid full whack and it was scuffed, I'd defo ring omlet! Never mind that it's an odd shape, it's up to them to make sure it's packaged properly whatever shape it is!

I got a blue re con one a few months ago and had a peek at the purple one on the van (which was brand new and hence full price!!) and i'd say my recon was in better nick and have less scuffs- even felt guilty for the person who it was going too!
