chickencam
If not I will start one. We saw this this afternoon and it was a lovely Christmassy family film, funny, touching and just generally lovely to watch. It made me laugh and cry in equal measure. kitchens
Haven't seen the film but want to see it .... however DS's Nativity Play was blooming fantastic. It was brilliant. Made my eyes water They do the same production every year so have mastered the timing etc etc. DS was a star .... so sweet. Now he keeps singing carols and when we went to Waitrose today and the Carol singers were there and singing away in a manger .. he told me it was his fave and that they had skipped the second verse and gone straight to the third! No flies on him
chickencam
Little ones'nativity play are so sweet, if sometimes a little odd. My ED was cast as a little black rain cloud in her reception class My DS was a silent king all dressed up an regal and rather I can't remember what YD was, but she stole the show as Mary in Playgroup by burying baby Jesus in the hay. She looked soo sweet, Joseph that year was a couple of years older and huge.
Space Chick
My friends little boy is playing a pig in his school nativity but didn't want to be dressed entirely in pink, so my friend was panicking over making his costume, so I suggested she should make him a Gloucester Old Spot pig costume Now he is delighted over being a pig My Godson has been practising his "When Santa got stuck up the chimney" for his play group concert, its really sweet, he's only 21 months and knows all the words

Busybird
DS2 has been practising for his school nativity play for the last couple of weeks. He didn't want to get up on stage (a bit shy) so was given the job of 'DJ' and felt very important making sure the sound effects and music played at the correct time and joining in with the songs. First of 3 performances was today at 11am. At 10.50am I got a call from the school to say he had tripped over a bag and split his lip. When I went up to school to check him out he was sheet white, blood everywhere. grazing around his nose and a split in his lower lip from back to front. The nurses at Casualty were great and, of course, it will heal quickly but he has to stay home, quiet so no nativity this year

iar fach goch
YS is poorly at home with me so am missing out on this evenings performance , OH has gone instead with my sister. MS is a little nervous of forgetting his lines so have sent my sister with the script to prompt if necessary. Feels rather strange being sat here at home.
