Guest
We had more snow overnight, but not as much as Wednesday morning, And it isn't so cold here - a heart-warming 3 degrees!
The Dogmother
I've just got back from lunch and it's still below zero here and there's snow left in the shadey bits too.
Richard T
We had a nice bit of snow last night. About an inch I think. Just enough to make things look nice and wintery, but not enough to prevent us driving. We did have to take it slowly and carefully tho' on the drive down the hill to the main road and then on the main road to the motorway. Once we were on the motorway it wasn't too bad at all. Well, that's my version. HP's version is something like, "ohmigod! Look at the snow!!! We're trapped!!!! And we're going to freeze to death!!!!" It seems she prefers the snow when it's on her terms. No photos I'm afraid. It was too dark, and the camera batteries need charging . ("We're freezing to death in a snow drift and all you can think about is flumpin photos!!!") PS I agree with what was said earlier about Radio 4 at 6.30pm (and don't forget The Archers at 7pm) although tonight's 6.30 offering isn't particularly funny (IMHO). There's often comedy at 11pm too. Tonight they've got Hamish and Dougal's Burns Night Special - which is an "I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue" spin-off. I don't believe there are any plans for a spin-off featuring a Mrs Trellis of North Wales.

Egluntyne
It's been the most beautiful day here, and warmish too. In fact the heating had to be turned off as we were sweltering. The hens played out from 9.30 till about 4. They were exhausted and put themselves to bed at 5.30ish

Cate in NZ
We've just had 2 glorious days, bright sunshine and very mild, out of the wind that is. When the wind blew it was a bit sharp. That said I've done a whole weekends wash (loads- I rarely wash much during the week- too busy with work and after school racing around ) and dried the whole lot on the washing line. I expect that in the summer...... but January Now I've got to go and iron it all of course
