Chickpea
Vintage clothing and accessories, jewellery etc. Fun stuff to dress up (or down!) in really. I don't know your friends, but might recognise their stall! This is mine at the Glenn Miller Festival - it's going to be double the size this year! The Glenn Miller Festival is great fun here's a link: http://www.twinwoodevents.com/glenn2007.htm

The Dogmother
Us too Egluntine, it was -2 here when I went to open the Eglu door. The water was only frozen on the surface, but the garden is solid; makes a change from mud though
Louise
it was +0.4 this morning It was below freezing when I went to bed but warmed up in the night Still ice on the road up to the main road though
feemcg
Very cold here too with a light covering of snow - not enough to get excited about though! Thats the first time the girls have had frozen water - they had pecked a wee hole in the glug which was only frozen on top but the dome drinker was frozen solid! Going to let them out now so I can see chicken footprints on the deck - sweet!
Linda
Woo hoo!! It's just started snowing here, and it's my day off so I can enjoy it!
Looney
We had a few flakes this morning but no sign of any snow since......I must be in the wrong bit of Cambridgeshire! Off sick today so wouldn't mind sitting watching the snow fall from the warmth of my house!
The Dogmother
I'd like some snow, but it's still bright and sunny here
Cinnamon
Same here Clare, but bitterly cold too. I like this sort of weather - it feels clean & refreshing after that perpetual autumn we had
The Dogmother
True and at least it's not raining - give the garden time to dry out, although mine is frozen solid this morning.
Linda
I was hoping for some proper winter too! We've got February to get through yet, remember, there's still time!! My snow has stopped - the cloud just isn't thick enough.
Tina C
I can't believe its been snowing in Cambridgeshire! We have bright sunshine and little fluffy clouds - no sign of any snow in the sky over St Neots.... I want it to snow overnight so I can see the chooks faces when they step out of the eglu
Christian
Hope you feel better soon Lorna. Its freeeezing here! Was -0.5 when we went to bed at 1.30 this morning. Had to take Laverne to the vet for her check up at 10am. Was wrapped up tight. She is fine, feathers are regrowing at the base of her tail . Just been to clean them out and my fingers are like ice!!! want to do some digging, but its sooooooo cold! The girls have found a sunny patch in the veg garden and are sun bathing C x

Happy-Mama
Had some snow over night but not too much, just enough to look pretty without being a hinderance Though looking a bit grey outside now...
The Dogmother
It's still sunny here, but rapidly clouding over - here's hoping.....
Louise
Its snowing here now big fluffy flakes and its settling on fairly frozen ground the roads will be hell tomorrow if this keeps up Anyone want to house swap for a couple of weeks
Cate in NZ
No snow down here yet, although there were a few flakes this morning when I let the girls out, but they came to nothing . It's flippin' freezing though. I just nipped out to buy some lunch and my knees and nose were tingling with the cold (every other bit of me was firmly wrapped up against the cold, but guess which twerp decided to wear an on the knee skirt and just below the knee boots on the coldest day of the year so far ). The children will be so excited if it snows. I on the other hand am a summer bird and would much rather have bright, warm sunshine than icicles any day of the week . Snow's OK if you can play in it, but travelling anywhere or achieving anything becomes ludicrously difficult when the roads get blocked, the trains all get delayed or diverted and you're having to wear 4 layers of clothing at all times
