scrambledhead
I'm no expert on this and I expect someone will ofer better advice but I give the bran by the handful mixed in a Grub full of feed as and when I remember, I think some like to add it to their girls' porridge too. You certainly don't need to worry about the eggs as the bran is quite natural!
Redwing
Dont be too scentific, about a small handful per grub as already recommended is fine, I feed mine as porridge (pellets, bran, warm water and whatever else comes to hand) as if I put it in with their food they tend to scoop the food out looking for it! No egg withdrawl is needed, its a feedstuff not a medicine
Ain't Nobody Here
I add a couple of really big scoops to the box I keep their feed in . The only limit to the amount you add is the price . Shop around and you can get some good deals. I got mine from Ebay.
Jools
Herban (and other oregano products) are great for upset tums.
whoopsie
Don't be too worried about the poo - mine used have rather runny bums (sorry!) when I first got them, then I found out it was totally normal. There's actually a really useful post on here somewhere about different types of poos. It's a bit gross but reassuring!!
poachedegg
I sprinkle probably about 1/2 a spoonful in each bowl of pellet porridge, which I give to them about twice a week.
