Olly
I hope to continue the 'spending mindfully' that I tried to apply in 2009. It paid dividends, not just in saving money but in not buying unnecessary stuff. I don't do 'resolutions', instead I set goals which I review throughout the year. Some of them are private ones but here are a few: 1) To take my Grade VII Singing Exam (did Grade VI just before Christmas, but I haven't got the result yet!) 2) To get two new POL hens and integrate them in a few weeks; 3) To sort out my pensions and work out if I should be paying a bit more in or saving somewhere else 4) To get the faulty double-glazing fixed 5) To train Cat #2 to use the cat-flap! MedusA
My main one is to see my Mum more often this year. When I saw her in December, she looked frail and elderly. She's 78 but has always been very young for her age. It made me realise she may not be around many more years, so I'd better take better care of her. Get the second allotment fully productive and not buy any veg if at all possible. Complete my half-done stained glass projects. Finish gutting and redecorating the hall/stairs/landing and study. Plus the usual eat healthier and exercise more. Oh....and get more chickens of course.
