Ain't Nobody Here
It may have just been a peck that was a bit hard. If it's stopped bleeding I'd leave it for the night but try putting some purple spray on the wound if you can, as a disinfectant and to discourage any more pecking. Watching their behaviour tomorrow may give you more clues.
oneyolktoanother
thanks for the reply, it stopped bleeding i think with the blood it looked alot worse than it was, she seems fine this morning and it has scabbed but i have caught one of the other hens pecking at it, the other day i ordered purple spray off ebay but it still hasnt arrived, i was trying to get a first aid box together just in case! do you know any shops that stock it so i could get some today, if not what else as i have contacted the seller and he said it should be here in the next 2 days. Also should i get a saddle to stop them from being able to peck at it? thanks in advance
chelsea
If you are able to, it might be worth seperating the injured bird from the rest of the flock until the spray has arrived . If there is anyway you could possibly seperate the run so that they can all see each other but so that the pecked bird can not be attacked further, this may be an option until she is better healed and you have chance to get some purple spray on her. If you are near a "farm supplies" store or equestrian store they may stock purple spray - maybe give them a ring to check stock before making the journey though. Egluntyne
Might be worth separating her for one night. it will give the wound a bit of a chance to heal, and for the purple spray to dry. Depending on where the cut is located, you might be able to cover it with a poultry saddle.

xScrunchee
She'll be fine with the house sounds I have an 'under the stairs cupboard' which is where I put chooks if they need to be inside for a while as it's dark, the sounds are muffled and it's also a little cooler than the rest of the house, however she will be fine wherever you put her-maybe cover her box with a towel or something to make it a little darker for her if she is in a room with the lights on

Egluntyne
If you only keep her apart for a day or so, they should be fine. Any longer and they might forget her and start a bit of argy bargy.
