Unsecure chicken perches

Having got freezing feet today in my wellies with three pairs of socks, my neighbour told me about muck boots. Looked into them and definately going to get a pair, but apart from price I can't really tell the difference. I want full lenght, and also don't know where the best place to get them.

 

Any one got them??

I've got the pink lace up boots from here - Christmas pressie from my Bro & SIL. They are lovely and warm.

The Aussie Soles have kept my feet warm and dry since about October. Have worn the pink muck boots for the last couple of days in the snow and have been dry & warm and toasty, but our snow isn't that deep to test weather they would be dry if the snow was deep went over the black foot part

thats our problem. I usually wear my 15 year old walking boots, but we have 10 inches of snow so no good...

Another potential solution if you have comfortable walking boots is to get some waterproof gaiters. That might work out cheaper than new boots. Of course if you want an excuse to get new boots....

I got muck boots for my birthday and am finding them really warm. Infact I'm wearing them now as I've walked into work in them I got mine from JC Country who do mail order. Free delivery I think.

I have just ordered some from them..... as i intend to wear them when we go to the alps next winter I have gone for the tay which will be perfect up to -20. I really fancied the purple ones..... but i always feel the cold and want toasty warm one...

I'm inbetween a 5 and 5 1/2 and had to go for a size 6. Tried on the 5 and they were just a bit too tight. HTH

i am hoping my normal size..... or they will be going swiftly back....i think as they are insulated you will wear less socks.. so thats my theory. I WANT THEM NOW!!!

i was thinking the same thing i want the black and pink pom pom ones, i'm also worried they won't go around my calves as apparently i have huge ones. i think they make boots to fit super skinny legs now cos mine aren't that big just average really.

in my reasearch i have discovered that they stretch to fit bigger calves as its the same stuff that is used to make sea suits.

I like the black and pink pom pom ones too I think Im gonna order my regular size as I cant find anywhere on the site which says to order bigger. On the croc site it does actually say to buy a size bigger of the ones with fluffly insides but i think thats just because they are the normal crocs with the fluffy inner put in.

Ok, thats it, decision made ! Off to order now.

How spooky !

I was just out with my dog in my lovely new muck boots (me, not the dog) and was thinking I should do a post to recomend them to Omleteers. I got some Tay's just before Xmas and they are FAB. I normally wear 5 1/2 or 6 and size 6 fits perfectly. I wear them with normal socks and have lovely toasty feet and ankles in several inches of snow - also have "chunky" calves and yes, they do stretch easily - neoprene is wetsuit material, so v stretchy. Cannot recommend highly enough. Not easy to find as many shops only sell the equestrian ranges with slippy soles, but e-mailed muckboots via their website and they sent back details of a supplier in Ottery St Mary.
