bluekarin
I have, for many years, had a box full of fabrics and bits of bobs which I 'intend' to do something with. And yet, I never do. So this year, I said to myself, not a full blown resolution, that I would start to do things. This week. I have been making cushions for my son out of his old, much loved t-shirts. Normally I'd hand them down, or if they aren't anything special, recycle them. One is of Space invaders on a groovy green background. The other is a Bart Simpson one, which I am half way through. I have also covered his computer chair with some camouflage pattern fleece instead of it being draped over (and invariably ending on the floor ) I shall post some photos when I take some tomorrow. Chucky Mama
Sounds interesting. YS has much loved footy shirts that he has outgrown that he can't bear to throw out.

bluekarin
Sure thing! Here you go The Bart one is not quite finishes. Just needs a bit more stuffing and slip stitching closed the bottom seam.

Snowy
Those are such a good idea - my teenage son has just given me a pile of outgrown t's that are still in good condition and have some cool rock designs on them. More things to make!!
