Mrs Frugal
You should have told me that before I climbed up, Trish !! Long-suffering Hubby says he's going to make nice new (very solid) steps at the weekend so that I don't do it again the next time I get the urge to do some DIY!! Trish
I only ever get the urge to GALMI (Get A Little Man In) or DISE (Do It Someone Else) Not enough time left after children, cats and chickens
Mrs Frugal
After today, Trish, I may well follow your philosophy!
Lesley
Oooh Kate - that sounds painful Hope you are OK? I'm always doing things like that - Carl found me at the top of the steps when I had my leg in full plaster. It was the hammering which alerted him or I'd have got away with it.! I'm afraid I'm DIM - Do It Myself!!
Sammi J
Oow Kate, Glad you didn't hurt yourself but I think you should have a nice bubble bath by candle light to stop any aches that may be lurking, waiting to get you tomorrow. Come on you know it makes sense. Lock yourself in that bathroom and relax. Sammi -x-
Lesley
Sammi - I know you're feeling poorly, but what is that picture?!
Mrs Frugal
It looks like a little cute wizard to me.
Sammi J
Oh Lesley, It's my little dancing Leprechaun! The picture it very small and can't seem to make it any bigger. I wondered why no one had said anything about it, now I know it's because you either can't tell what it is or you don't like it!! Oh well, never mind. Mrs Frugal
I like it, Sammi. I was going to comment on it when you first put it on but I got waylaid (again!) and never got round to it. I think he's a cute little chap and if he knows where the end of the rainbow is, I'll be there with my spade, digging for gold !!

SarahJo
OK .. I was there last week . Chill .. maybe borrow Sammi's hot water bottle. Sarah
Mrs Frugal
Are you sure it's a gun??? Pass Lesley a big bar of Green & Black's and her glasses - I think it's a stick or a magic wand??? I don't think it's a gun - hang on, I'll get our resident armoury expert in to have a look at it........ .......OK, he thinks it's a gun but then again, he thinks bits of Lego, sticks, kitchen roll tubes etc are guns so maybe he's not the best judge in the world ! I still think it's a stick - not the gun sort though !
Lesley
Look here for a chocolate party - www.chocolate-parties.com My daughter has these - I think it's time she had another
SarahJo
Right I won't do my individual quote ... but I reckon it looks like a gun too . Sarah
Sammi J
It's a fun, friendly, dancing Leprechaun, not an evil fighting one. His holding his Shillelagh (which is a magic stick which he use for traveling on the rainbow) and a picture of lucky clover. SarahJo
of course Sammi ... I saw one in Macclesfiled town centre this morning doing exactly that. Sarah
Mrs Frugal
See, I told you it was a stick!! Sarah - what have you done to your profile ! All you were supposed to be doing was learning how to use quotes in your postings, not make your eglu and hens vanish!!
Lesley
Sarah has been asking how to do the signature bit as well, and - despite her shouting at me in a PM because I didn't quite understand what she was getting at - I've sent another PM. Sarah appears to have gone to bed but.........Watch this space Or rather - watch Sarah's signature!
Sheilaz
Sammi, I love your Avatar Esther (9) was looking earlier & said she really liked it but asked what he was doing. Having caught screen /vision problem from Lesley I peered and thought it was a gun too (& quickly dismissed other thoughts) but E. thought he was writing in a notebook ( spelling) so I looked again & thought he had a paintbrush. Modern art again? Ah, both wrong...I'll show Esther again tomorrow
SarahJo
KATE SAID - Sarah - what have you done to your profile ! All you were supposed to be doing was learning how to use quotes in your postings, not make your eglu and hens vanish Nothing .. I didn't have any pics to begin with, as I did not know how to put them in , this morning I had hens and no eglu for a while ... and now ... YES ITS SORTED . Thanks to Lesley ... who has been shouting back, she went to watch Corrie last night, then decided she couldn't face me again, so watched everything else too . Lesley
I still haven't watched Grumpy Old Women yet - ran out of time! But can do a very good impression myself anyway
Mrs Frugal
I got the impression that we are supposed to turn into Grumpy Old Women when we turn 40. That can't be right - I hit the big 4-0 in June but I've been a Grumpy Old Woman for years !
Sheilaz
Well I don't believe that any of us are Grumpy old Women...its just that everyone around us, and in the whole wide world, has become increasingly annoying, irritating, demanding etc. Strange but true I'm sure its not us Now,,,things I've learned this week.... its not a good idea to stand over magazine rack in bathroom when putting in a contact lens.... and, when you give up and put a new one in, but find it doesn't feel right... don't stand at son's market stall, take it out & say I think there's something wrong with this one.. because, if you do, when you are showing him & saying, " look I'm going to take it back to the opticians cos it looks faulty".. ..the wind will surely blow it right out of your hand & you will have lost 2 in 1 hour & have to buy some more... ...plus look like a right idiot searching the market for the one that blew away.... ,,,when you can't see a lot cos you've only got one lens in now... ...and eveyone thinks you're winking at them would you like to buy some toys Can I help you? Mum, just go...go now....
