patsylabrador
The setup of the coop is such that I can't see what's going on at the end, under the nest box. The chickens spend a lot of time there and occasionally emerge whistling and shaking mud from their' fluffy knickers ', I went to see what they're doing and found definite signs of tunnel building. I wonder where they've stashed the Bonneville.
ScissorChix
LOL : The thought of chickens with "knickers" full of soil.
Carol U
Sounds as though they've found a good place to have a dustbath. The bottom of my garden is riddled with what look like escape tunnels. When they've finished, they all sit on the garden seat and shake the soil out of their knickers. We have to warn unsuspecting guests never to use it! Chicken Licken
I suspect they have been talking to Barry and Primrose and are digging the tunnels 'Tom, Dick and Harry' even as I type (I suddenly have the Great Escape music in my head!!) The question of where they are staching the spoil is obvious - in their knickers!!!

patsylabrador
Absolutely, & it has to be the triumph bonneville as ridden by the amazing Steve Mcqueen. We ride one, well, my husband does, I just hang on at the back with a silly grin on my face. Any other bikers out there? We could meet at the Ace Cafe, I fancy going there but wouldn't know what to say to people, at least we could talk about chickens!
