suebee Posted January 24, 2010 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Raina, that is fantastic! It's so professional, you ought to think about going into business! I make my own.... Same shape as yours but just patted together on the work top with a floury hand, and then a hole made with a skewer. Yours put mine to shame! By the way, I use layers mash instead of flour - the meal type with no bits, that looks like co"Ooops, word censored!" flour, (Dodson & Horrell). I reckon that way it's not just a treat as they're still getting their layers ration. It all binds together with the egg and added bits, just the same. Mixed Corn 2 table spoons of sweetcorn/mealworms ect 1 Free-Range Egg 2-3 Table spoons of flour and a drop of water I then mixed everything so it was a bit like a paste and added it to cake tins,if there's anything left over you could always store it in the fridge for a couple of days I left it in the oven on 120 degrees for about 90 mins to dry it out,once it cooled i used some cable ties to hang it up. With the Teddy Bear one's i had the oven on 140 and they were in for about 45 mins I'm not sure how long it takes for them to go bad as the big round one was in the Eglu for just over 3 weeks (That's how long it took my 2 to eat it) and was still fine Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
