Ain't Nobody Here
I've just watched the first 2 episodes of the new series but am a bit confused. Not to spoil it for those who haven't seen them yet, something major happens at the end of the first one I watched but it's not mentioned in the next one. Have I missed one somehwo or got the episodes the wrong way round ? I'm sure I haven't but I still can't work it out .
Seagazer
When did the new series start? I haven't seen any trailers, I love this series. Can you give me a clue whats happened in case its an old series.
Ain't Nobody Here
An engagement party is thrown for Justin and Rebecca, Justin is told he was only given his place at med school because Robert made some calls (and that he's struggling and needs to work harder or be thrown out), Sarah goes to Paris ... I'm sure it's a brand new series. The first two episodes were back to back on More 4 on 21 Jan. If you have cable you should be able to find them (or online at 4 on Demand). Seagazer
Thanks ANH. I can't believe I missed the start of it. I love this series, you can laugh and cry in the same episode. Thats all sorted on Sky+ and I'll catch up online. Thanks again.
laurmurf
my guilty pleasure, watching this! I saw the first episode, it starts with the visit to the surrogacy agency, is that the one you mean? I haven't watched the second yet: will do and get back to you. One of the reasons i love this so much is that Ken Olin is both in it and directs it. For those old enough he was the centre of 'thirtysomething' my absolute all time favourite of my earlier years, when i was - in fact - thirtysomething! Seagazer
Oh don't get me started on Thirtysomething. I absolutely loved that programme and would be so upset if I missed an episode of it. Brilliant series. I caught a few of the episodes a couple of years back. One of my all time favourites along with Grey's Anatomy and ER
Seagazer
Oh dear, I need a tissue. Just finished watching the first two episodes I think Sally Field is a fantastic actress, she portrays all emotions so well.

Helly Welly
I thought i'd missed something too, like a whole series maybe I understood what was going on but it was a bit weird nonetheless. Really good though, i love American tv

Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks, Laurie . I'm sure I did see what I think I saw but they obviously don't want me to know that I saw it so I think I didn't. If you see what I mean . It's all clear now . Really enjoying it anyway . (Despite Holly's voice .)
Seagazer
I think Holly is the worst person in this, she talks through gritted teeth almost. I think she's also got a plastic chest, not that I spend all my time looking at it . It never moves, very odd. I just love Rob Lowe and Ken Olin, major crush on him in Thirtysomething. Cinnamon
Its Balthazar Getty all the way for me Can't stand Holly (or is it Haaaaarley) either - she is a horrible character
Helly Welly
It's certainly about time Holly got her comeuppance. I have had a major crush on Rob Lowe since i was about 12, i missed him when The West Wing finished so i was glad to discover Brothers and Sisters. The actor who plays Rebecca was in Everwood, another one of my guilty pleasures and she played quite a similar although younger character, which is odd. It's on again tonight so i'll have a nice breakfast tomorrow. I have to record it and watch it the next day as a) i go to bed early and b) i'd never get to watch it in peace with OH around.
