Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

well my girls have their coats thought id share. please excuse the mess, the run is beinre done! (and the snow has left the run in a mess)

 

 

 

 

 

theres only one flaw in their design................... they need a strap or something across their breast to hold them on as one just fell off!!!

they are originally for protecting their backs when the rooster does his bit. but im using them to stop the other girls from pecking their backs.

I guess it's early days but are they working? I've been thinking about getting one of these for poor Holly, she's been half bald for so long I've forgotten what she looks like fully feathered! Tried all the usual entertainment/distractions, sprays, beak rings, bumper bits for the offender but she's still gets pecked at.

Hello, well one has stayed on and the other has fallen off. I think they have a design flaw and could do with another strap that sits on their lower chest.. (Im gonna put one on)

 

but they seem happy enough, either way the others cant get to their backs and sidesthey can still get to their bottoms but its a start.
