vaccine

As far as I know (and I'm no expert) they are usually done when they're tiny (as a flock) and there is no need to ever vaccinate them after that. The only exception might be for a small scale poultry breeder as I understand it's expensive to do so only large flocks get done. My girls haven't been vaccinated, for example, as they came from a small scale farmer.

 

That might be complete rubbish though :lol: . Hopefully someone will confirm/deny my ramblings :lol: .

I always have to comment even though its already been said :wink:

 

You won't been to vaccinate them as they're done as chicks and you have to buy the vaccainations in large doses.

You will have to worm them though, which might be what you heard about? :D

 

I use flubenvet every few months but there are a couple of other ways - some people use verm-x :)
