Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

I have just posted in the nesting box and noticed that it is two years since we got Henny Penny and Ebony and our eglu.

 

I am so pleased we got them, sadly Henny Penny is no longer with us but Ebony is, only lays softies but we love her, two weeks after we got our Omlet girls we added Latte and Ivory they are both still laying.

 

This year we hope to finally sort out our WIR and start to use the cube which I might just have to fill with some more

 

To anyone reading the forum and thinking about getting some hens go for it, it is one of the best decisions that we made, I would miss them so much if they weren't here.

 

Thank you to all the omleteers for all the help that you have given during the two years.

It is amazing how quickly the time goes when you're having chickeny fun!

It has gone quickly but I can not remember life before chickens They are just part of family life, something that those without chickens do not understand

Congrats on 2 lovely years with your chickens i'm the same here but have added twice to my flock. Lost 2 of my original girls but all been fine since then, couldn't have done so well without all the help from here though

Just passed my three-year Henniversary, and like the rest of you I cannot imagine my garden without chickens in it now.

 

I've progressed from one and two , then adding a and three preloved hens, to a and now back down to a with a WIR (darn it, why isn't there a Smiley for WIRs!)
