Britannia Ovens (esp Range cookers) your experience

I am thinking about drinkers and feeders for my new walk in run. I quite like the grub and glug, so would like to stick with these in the WIR. Just wondering how to attatch them to the side. Sure I could think of something that would work, but thought I would ask what others have done?? No point in re-inventing the wheel!

As Lyns said, ikea kroken rails

 

They come in different sizes - I have 30cm and 80cm ones.

If you can't get to an ikea, there are often some on ebay

I've attached a redundant piece of the cube run skirt to the side of the WIR using cable ties..........not sure I've got any pics though.............

That would work Lewis...because I have my run butted up to my WIR, I have attached all the unnecessary pieces of skirt/door etc to the run so they can be stored & not lost, or gainfully employed as per this piece:D

Thanks lots, so many ideas to choose from! Those Ikea rails have given me an idea. I have some old copper pipe in my shed - think I might hammer it flat, bend it at the ends and drill a couple of holes to fix it

I too use my redundant cube run. At the time it was handy as we used a skirted bit and that covered up the gap we had between the two concrete bases so that the girls couldn't get out and a fox couldn't get in. They are just clipped onto the wire.

As you may (or not be aware) I am planning my WIR (dead excited as it all turned up today).

 

If the kickboard I intend to line the WIR with is not suitable I am going to use those radiator airer things. The DH is very handy and he has said he will cut the ends down. But I could stick razor blades on the ends that stick out to put off foxes. Bitter? Moi?

 

I've seen some photos on this forum of people using IKEA kitchen shelving brackets.
