TAJ
Oh how exciting - what's going in Tuesday? Has OH packed his bags yet? I'm sitting here chick watching and my OH have taken my bully bella down the allotment for the afternoon - she is weeding inside the greenhouse for us (hopefully, though I feel the pot of mixed corn might make her not bother) - she has to earn her living some how as I have had 1 egg in 8 days. Redwing
four chicks are out and the other two are on the way, all still in the inccy so no pics I am really pleased with this lot, they are our first home bred Pekins and all eggs were fertile and all look like they will hatch ok
Redwing
I take that back, one chick didnt make it, it hatched but had some shell stuck to its face with what looked like mucus and presumably it suffocated shortly after hatching we were outside all afternoon otherwise we might have spotted it and saved it So five bouncing lavender chicks not six
