Gelbel
I dragged myself to IKEA yesterday afternoon to do battle with the crowds to get some of the clear shower curtains. I could not see any - I asked an assistant and they have been discontinued. I spent £55 on bits and bats but not the things I wanted. I'm going to have to get a clear tarp now - but they are not so flexible.

Egluntyne
Have you a Dunelm near you? They do a roll of clear plastic for a couple of quid a metre, which is very good. Or how about the clear perspex panel form B&Q?

Redwing
They must be an IKEA staple, I think its actually law that you have to buy the following upon entering the store: Square clear glass vase Mahooooosive bag of tea lights Twigs bound with string Set of knives Clear shower curtain Round bath mat I cant imagine why they would discontinue the shower curtain

Poached Egg
I could not see any - I asked an assistant and they have been discontinued. I have been similarly advised by their assistants in the past, which turned out to be wildly mis-advised, so wouldn't take that info too literally. Was hoping to get some this w/e as well. My local stores are showing 'none - don't know when its due' and 'expected 25Mar - 1 Apr'. Other stores vary between lots of stock (obviously no omleteers nearby) and as above. Main pointer on the downside is does anyone know if these curtains were on sale for more £? If yes, they may well be trying to clear them out, otherwise they are probably having production/delivery issues. I have my fingers crossed for more stock soon. jlo
Part of me would feel quite relieved if they have been discontinued. Mum and I made a trip to the Southampton branch a couple of weeks ago with the sole intention of buying the shower curtains. I spent £75 but completely forgot to look for the damn things!! I felt a right numpty!
Chicktastic
B & Q do a shower curtain for about £2.50 and they are great!! Have one over my run strapped on with bungee straps!!! It is like a frosted plastic so shades a bit too!!
