Chick-a-doodle-doo
I have bought the easter trays with 6 seperate shapes... What am I supposed to put in them... A cake mix or biscuit mix? Do you have an easy recipe for a nice chocolate chip cookie mix ? Please

..lay a little egg for me
The recipe I posted in this thread is v nice. Not sure if it would work in a shaped mould but worth a try?
Lesley
Have you got a link to the trays so that we can see exactly what they are like? ooops! - cross posted there.........
chickencam
If they are like the ones that I saw in Waitrose the other day, I would say a cake mix would be better. You will need to grease them well.
Patricia W
I accidentally bought 2 of these trays at Waitrose ( honest- they were stuck together- and at the checkout the cashier thought there was only one too! I didn't know I'd got two till about 3 weeks later) I thought I'd have a go at using melted chocolate to make hollow ones, then stick two together to make a whole egg. Or just make a half and fill with choc crispies for a nest and put some mini -eggs in. Tricia
sunshinesupernova
I saw some tin bunnies / eggs bakin trays in Tescos yesterday. I think they are made for cakes ... Chocolate would be hard to get out of those ones without breaking as they don't flex Cute though !
