I have the tarp all the way across the hens run - clear one.

 

I am wondering about removing it and just putting the eglu cover on now the weather getting a LITTLE better.

 

When are you removing yours or are you never?

 

Hopefully all going to plan I wont have to worry as waiting for the WIR to be made but in the meantime...

My tarp is attached all year round as we never have proper seasons! So I check the forecast before going to work/going out and if they predict "dry and sunny" I pull back the tarp and roll up my omlet shades (I use both), if it's forecast "slight chance of rain" I will partly roll them back. If "heavy rain" like today - I leave them all down.

Gosh yes! Bit too comlicated and effort me!!!

 

Mine is secured all around with zip tie thingies.

My run is for the rabbits but what we've done in the last week is remove most of the layers of tarps (we ended up with about 4 layers). We have one layer left cos of the rain.

I just leave the side down where the rain is coming from but it does mean you keep checking the forcast

I leave it up all year and just tie it back or let it down according to weather
