3.6m Omlet Chicken Run for sale, Brand New in Boxes, Milton Keynes (MK19)

I went to the South of England rare breeds centre this morning and had a good nosey at their chickens (none for sale yet though). Some of the breeds were labelled but the ones that caught my eye were these beautiful white chooks with black spots. They were large birds, real pretty but they had proper spots - like a dalmation. They have been added to my wish list (along with orps and cochins) but I need to know what breed they are before I can add them properly!

She's not large though Officially large fowl but smaller than my Brahma Bantam.....

Not quite. It didn't have the funky hair and the spots were larger. Maybe it's a bitsa!

I found an image on google. It looked like this....

 

 

The ones at the rare breed centre were lovely - more white with beautifully spaced spots - but I would say it was one of those in the pic.

 

So, any ideas?

Ooh gorgeous Do they usually sell chickens at the Rare Breed place? I've only been a couple of times and never seen any for sale.

You have to ask. I did and they're not going to have any available until about june. They've only just started hatching.

 

If you're looking for some new chickens, Ark birds and bee's are a little way down the road in Charing.
