steam ovens

:shock: Did the Aga go? Wouldn't you just want an Aga?

 

It's gone but it's coming back :D

 

When we first moved in I would have paid anyone to take it away :shock: now I'd fight for it :oops::lol: The other oven is when the Aga needs turning off either in summer or when it's being serviced. It's only a maybe, as we haven't used anything else for the last 12 months :D

:D Phew! Yes, I haven't solved the "off" problem & cooking for so many peeps.

My Mother still has her gas cooker which is either '40's or '50's :shock: ...(SuperKate, you'd love it), which is brilliant, but I should think that is a rare position to be in.

 

Not heard of a steam oven, will watch this thread. Hope the building is going well, Karen. xx

We are having a new kitchen fitted in 2 weeks time and have ordered a steam oven to go in it. They are supposed to be fantastic. My friend has one and uses it all the time for her veggies, fish etc. At the moment I use my electric steamer most evenings and it will be replaced by a purpose built , fitted one. I'll keep you posted!!
